This is a phishing attempt first reported to CSULB ITS on April 30, 2015.

Sent: Thursday, April 30, 2015 12:45 AM
The user receives a notification indicating their account is suspected as being compromised, as it was used to send out a large amount of unsolicited email. It instructs the recipient to open an attachment to follow instructions for keeping their computer safe.
The sender is possibly attempting to obtain BeachID account credentials or installing malware via an attachment for their own malicious purposes.
