Personal computers can connect to the @csulb email system utilizing Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010. The @csulb account can be the primary or an additional account in Outlook 2007/2010. Virtual Private Network (VPN) is not required for connection of the Outlook 2007/2010 to campus email servers.

To Add an Account to Outlook 2007/2010

If you don't have an account already configured in Outlook 2007/2010, you'll be prompted to add an account. Skip to step 3 below and enter your account information when prompted.

  1. Click on File
  2. Click on Add Account

3. Enter your name, E-mail Address, Password, and Retype Password

4. Click Next

5. The Outlook 2007/2010 client will connect and configure automatically

6. Click Finish

7. Outlook will need to be restarted and your @csulb email account will begin to download messages
