This is a phishing attempt first reported to CSULB ITS on November 21, 2018.

The fraudulent email claims that someone is trying to hack the recipient's email account and provides a false link to click on. The link directs the user to a false website.

Intent of the Email

This may be an attempt to acquire personal account credentials or install malware on recipient devices.
