This is a phishing attempt first reported to CSULB ITS on January 18, 2018.

Subject: Email Alert!
The fraudulent email comes from a compromised CSULB account, which is being addressed. It claims that the recipient has reached their email quota and to click on a link to increase it. CSULB never requires you to "validate" or ask you to "increase your quota."
Intent of the Email
The sender is attempting to capture BeachID account credentials for their own malicious purposes. The link within the email has been blocked from being accessed while on the campus network.
