This is a phishing attempt first reported to CSULB ITS on November 27, 2017.

Subject:  Upgrade,



The fraudulent email claims to inform recipients that it comes from CSULB regarding a supposed upgrade.  The email comes from a CSULB employee email, which has been compromised and is being addressed.  The link may be blocked if you're attempting to access it while on the campus network.   

Intent of the Email

The sender is attempting to capture email account credentials for their own malicious purposes.
