This article outlines steps to configure WiFi calling features on popular mobile device platforms.  WiFi calling ensures adequate network coverage to make and receive calls in buildings that lack cellular network signal.  It's important that the mobile device is connected to a campus WiFi network when setting up or using WiFi calling.

Instructions to Enable WiFi Calling

Apple Device 

  1. Navigate to Settings, then Phone, then WiFi Calling.  

  2. Turn on the Wi-Fi Calling feature

  3. Links to support documentation can be found on the Apple Website.

Android Device 

  1. If your device supports WiFi calling, options to enable this feature will be found in Settings, then Connections.  Android devices vary based on manufacturer and carrier, so it's recommended that you consult your carrier's documentation on how to enable this feature if it's not readily found under Settings.
