Overview

This document outlines installation steps for connecting a personally owned (non-university issued) Windows device to the @csulb Exchange server to receive university email.
Please contact your Technical Coordinator if you have any questions.

Special Note About Personal Mobile Devices

University support personnel are not permitted to work on personal devices, so this document was created for you to configure your device on your own. If you do require assistance or are unsuccessful with configuring your personal device to receive @csulb email, please contact your Technical Coordinator who may be able to provide limited guidance.

Uninstall Instructions (If Applicable)

NOTE:  If you are attempting to add an @csulb Exchange connection while already having an existing Exchange email account on your device, you’ll first need to delete it before adding your @csulb email account by performing the following:

  1. Tap the "Start" option.
  2. Tap "Messaging".
  3. Tap “Menu," and then tap the “Delete” option.
  4. Tap "Yes" to confirm the deletion.

This will remove your Exchange email account from your device, and you will be able to connect to a new Exchange email account.
