In order to remotely connect to a computer:

1) Right click on "Computer" and select "Properties"

2) Click "Remote Settings" in the Properties Window:

3) After selecting "Remote Settings" a new window will appear called "System Properties"
In "System Properties" click on the "Remote" tab

4) Upon selecting the "Remote" tab, there will be a list of options concerning "Remote Assistance" and "Remote Desktop"
Under the "Remote Desktop" section of the "Remote" tab select the check box in "Remote Assistance" and under "Remote Desktop" select
the best option you see fit.

** The options under "Remote Desktop are explained below: **
** Don't allow connections to this computer -->
Prevents anyone from connecting to your computer using Remote Desktop or RemoteApp.
** Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure) --> Allows people to connect to your computer using any version of Remote Desktop or RemoteApp. This is a good choice when you are unsure of what version other people will be using, however it is less secure than the last option.
** Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (more secure) --> Allow people to connect to your computer running version of Remote Desktop or RemoteApp with Network Level Authentication. This is a good choice if you know people are using Windows 7 to connect to your computer since Windows 7's Remote Desktop uses Network Level Authentication.
