This is a phishing attempt first reported to CSULB ITS on April 18, 2018.

Subject: Email De-Activation: csulb.edu ID:[ allan.kellogg ] Suspension
The fraudulent email claims that the recipient's email is scheduled for disconnection and requires to click a link to prevent it from happening. The university does not email employees or students to avoid account deactivation by clicking on a link. Deactivation occurs when employees and students separate from the university after a period of time.
Intent of the Email
The phisher/sender is attempting to capture email account credentials for their own malicious purposes.
